To strengthen our Data & Technology capabilities, we are now looking for an Automation Specialist with a strong passion for data, AI/ML, and industrial automation.

The Role

As Automation Specialist – Data & Technology, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing data-driven automation solutions across our global production systems. You will work at the intersection of automation, data analytics, and AI/ML, helping to optimize production lines and develop future-ready technologies.

This is a specialist role with high technical impact and close collaboration across engineering, automation, and digitalization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Data analysis & optimization
  • Design and develop data collection architectures
  • Analyze production data to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability
• AI / ML development
  • Apply machine learning and AI tools to optimize automated production lines
  • Translate data insights into scalable automation solutions
• Technology development & research
  • Research and evaluate new automation, data, and digital technologies
  • Contribute to the development of next-generation fully automated, high-capacity production lines
• Technology maintenance & support
  • Maintain and improve existing automation and data solutions
  • Support digitalization and automation projects globally

You will also contribute to digitalization projects and the development of technical infrastructure for data-driven decision-making across Gram Equipment

Your Profile

We are looking for a technically strong and curious professional who enjoys working with both automation and data.

Required qualifications & experience:

• +5 years of experience within industrial automation
• Strong experience with data analytics and applying AI / ML tools in an industrial context
• Programming skills within PLC systems and at least one high-level programming language
• Deep understanding of automation systems and production environments
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
