byFounders is looking for a full-time Investment Analyst / Visiting Analyst to join our investment team in Copenhagen on a fixed-term basis.

The role will support the team with investment-related research, analysis, sourcing, and operational tasks. The position is suitable for a candidate with strong analytical skills and an interest in technology companies, startups, and venture capital.

Main responsibilities

• Research and assess potential investment opportunities

• Support market and sector research

• Identify relevant companies, founders, and technology trends

• Assist with preparation of investment materials and internal analyses

• Support portfolio-related tasks and general operational work

• Maintain structured information in internal systems and databases

• Assist the investment team with ad hoc analytical and administrative tasks

Qualifications

We expect that the candidate has:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good written and spoken English skills

• Interest in technology, startups, and investment analysis

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Attention to detail and ability to handle several tasks at the same time

Relevant experience from startups, consulting, finance, investment, research, or analytical project work is an advantage, but not a requirement.
