What is a Gourmet Butcher?A gourmet butcher doesnât slaughter animals â instead, you specialize in
cutting high-quality meat and creating premium delicacies. You will learn to:
⢠Prepare menus for weddings, holidays, and other events
⢠Produce ready-made meals and convenience food
⢠Handle food safety, hygiene, and self-monitoring procedures
⢠Cut and portion meat professionally and produce sausages and charcuterie products
⢠Work in teams to plan and manage daily operations
Once you complete your apprenticeship, you will hold a
nationally certified and internationally recognized diploma, opening doors for job opportunities in Denmark and abroad.

- 1st year of apprenticeship per month: 13,708.22 DKK (1,835 EUR)
- 2nd year of apprenticeship per month: 17,342.90 DKK (2,321 EUR)
- Remaining apprenticeship period per month: 20,490.17 DKK (2,743 EUR)
- Adult apprentices per month: 26,839.24 DKK (3,593 EUR)
⢠Working hours per month: 160.33 hours
⢠The apprenticeship duration is 3.5 years.
⢠In addition, the employer contributes 12.6% to the pension after 3 months of employment.
⢠Note: Salary is paid in Danish kroner (DKK).
