The RoleAs Automation Specialist – Data & Technology, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing data-driven automation solutions across our global production systems. You will work at the intersection of automation, data analytics, and AI/ML, helping to optimize production lines and develop future-ready technologies.
This is a specialist role with high technical impact and close collaboration across engineering, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will include:
- Data analysis & optimization
- Design and develop data collection architectures
- Analyze production data to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability
- AI / ML development
- Apply machine learning and AI tools to optimize automated production lines
- Translate data insights into scalable automation solutions
- Technology development & research
- Research and evaluate new automation, data, and digital technologies
- Contribute to the development of next-generation fully automated, high-capacity production lines
- Technology maintenance & support
- Maintain and improve existing automation and data solutions
- Support digitalization and automation projects globally
You will also contribute to digitalization projects and the development of technical infrastructure for data-driven decision-making across Gram Equipment.
Your ProfileWe are looking for a technically strong and curious professional who enjoys working with both automation and data.
Required qualifications & experience:
- +5 years of experience within industrial automation
- Strong experience with data analytics and applying AI / ML tools in an industrial context
- Programming skills within PLC systems and at least one high-level programming language
- Deep understanding of automation systems and production environments
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
