Chef – Chinese Cuisine (Bao & Noodle Specialist)
About Us
We are a new restaurant in Copenhagen specializing in authentic Sichuan cuisine from China, with a focus on handmade bao, fresh noodles, dumplings, and traditional Sichuan regional dishes. We are seeking an experienced chef to help establish and maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and authenticity.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and cooking of Sichuan dishes
* Production of handmade bao, dumplings, and noodles
* Menu development and seasonal specials
* Food preparation and kitchen organization
* Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
* Inventory management and ingredient control
* Assisting with staff training and kitchen operations
Qualifications
* Proven professional experience as a chef or cook
* Experience preparing Chinese/Sichuan cuisine
* Experience with dough-based products, bao, dumplings, noodles, or similar products, especially braised pork baos (酱肉包), creamy pea noodles(豌杂面), etc.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
