Client Relations Lead & Administrative Coordinator 

The role of Client Relations Lead & Administrative Coordinator is a position that combines client relationship development, creative music work, and internal administration and coordination within our content team (StereoRoyal, A New Story, Ace Edition, Silverdrum). 

In this role, you will play an important part in establishing Upright Music’s presence in key international markets, primarily Australia and New Zealand, with the potential to expand the focus to the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg over time. The role combines outward-facing client work with internal collaboration across Upright’s own content team. 

Your responsibilities will broadly be divided between client relationships, music-related creative support, and administrative coordination. 

Client Relations & Market Development (approx. 40–50%) 

  • Creating and developing relationships with production companies, advertising agencies, broadcasters, producers, post-producers, directors, editors, and other creative stakeholders. 

  • Building and maintaining a network of clients and industry contacts in the territory. 

  • Promoting Upright Music’s catalogue and services as a reliable and creative music partner for primarily TV and advertising productions. 

  • Identifying and pursuing new opportunities for the use of Upright Music’s repertoire within media productions. 

  • Proactively reaching out to clients and maintaining regular communication with existing contacts. 

  • Developing a strong understanding of the local market, production environments, and client needs. 

Music Curation & Client Support (approx. 20–30%) 

  • Responding to client briefs with tailored music suggestions. 

  • Creating music lineups and curated selections from Upright Music’s catalogue. 

  • Developing a strong understanding of Upright’s repertoire and labels. 

  • Identifying opportunities for bespoke music compositions and connecting projects with appropriate composers. 

  • Supporting clients throughout the process of selecting music for their productions. 

Internal Coordination & Administrative Responsibilities (approx. 20–30%) 

  • Supporting the internal work of Upright Music’s own content team, particularly STR, ANEW, ACE, and Silverdrum. 

  • Supporting catalogue management through metadata handling and content registrations. 

  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to repertoire management. 

  • Ensuring that catalogue information is properly organized and maintained. 

  • Coordinating with internal teams to support the overall workflow around Upright’s catalogue and client needs. 

Role Focus 

  • Primary territories: Australia and New Zealand 

  • Potential future focus: The Netherlands 

  • Industry focus: TV production and advertising 

  • Collaboration with Upright’s own content team: STR, ANEW, ACE, Silverdrum 

In this role, you will help establishing Upright Music’s relationships with key industry partners while supporting clients with creative music solutions and contributing to the internal management of our catalogue.
