About FLC:

At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

We are also building the facilities for prefabricated tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.

About the department: The TE systems are part of the scope of the Marine team as temporary measures to facilitate the transport and immersion of the elements.

To float, move and immerse the Tunnel Elements, temporary installations are required. A team of mechanics, riggers and electricians installs and tests these systems. The Commissioning Engineer analyzes technical input to optimize performance and plan ahead, working closely with technical staff and operations.

Main tasks and responsibilities: The Site Engineer Automation ensures operational readiness of the temporary systems in the tunnel elements and continuously improves them based on operational feedback to optimize installation efficiency.

• Creates and follows a testing protocol for all installations.

• Leads the commissioning of the standard and special tunnel elements.

• Adapts system changes according to new insights.

• Provides correct reports and documentation to the site engineers.

• Is responsible for adjusting control systems, and coordinates changes.

Qualifications:

• Is fascinated by technology and wants to understand how things work.

• Is an analytical thinker and a fast learner, able to comprehend, design and improve systems.

• Has strong communication skills, necessary for project development with internal clients and contractors.

• Is a problem solver

• Speaks English.
