DEVOPS ENGINEER FOR MOBILE ROBOTS

At Capra Robotics, we develop and produce our own mobile robot platform. While robotics is what we build, this role is mainly about making sure our development and deployment setup works reliably and scales with us as we grow.

You will become part of the development team and work closely with software engineers across the organization.

THE ROLE

Your main responsibility will be to maintain and improve our development infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

This includes:

• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines

• Supporting developers with build systems and tooling

• Managing and maintaining Linux-based systems

• Setup and maintenance of cloud servers and environments

• Improving deployment processes (both internal and customer-facing)

• Ensuring stable and simple solutions for version control and releases

• Helping us keep things structured as we grow

We are not looking for someone to “reinvent everything,” but someone who can build robust, practical solutions and keep them running.

ABOUT YOU

You are structured and pragmatic. You care about making things work – and keeping them working.

You are probably a person who:

• Enjoys creating order in complex setups

• Likes automation and reducing manual work

• Takes responsibility for your area

• Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues

• Prefers simple and maintainable solutions over overly complex ones

You don’t need to be a robotics expert. Interest is welcome, but your main focus will be infrastructure and DevOps practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• B. Sc. degree or similar in IT, computer science, or related field

• Around 3+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or IT operations

• Solid experience with build systems and CI pipelines

• Strong knowledge of git workflows

• Experience working with Linux systems

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (setup and maintenance)

• Ability to design and maintain stable CI and deployment solutions

• Good documentation and communication skills

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with Docker

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools and agile workflows

• Experience with networks or distributed systems

• General interest in robotics or embedded systems
