About Us

Opened in July 2020, FLUX was created with a vision to serve delicious gastropub food across all areas of our establishment, whether it's enjoying a meal in our Merchant Room, Backyard, or Tap Room. We are known for combining the warmth of an Irish gastropub with innovative, high-quality dining that has made us a favourite in the heart of Aarhus.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a reliable and positive Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team and help maintain smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is:

• Hardworking: Enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team-Oriented: Works well with others and contributes to a positive atmosphere.
• Organized: Able to keep workstations clean, tidy, and efficient.
• Flexible: Open to different kitchen tasks and willing to learn.
• Dependable: Punctual, responsible, and ready to support the team when needed.
• Internationally Minded: Comfortable communicating in English and working in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting chefs with food preparation and kitchen tasks.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
• Washing dishes and ensuring kitchen equipment is kept clean.
• Helping with stock handling and basic kitchen setup.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
