About the job

Yi Dumpling is looking for a reliable and hard-working kitchen assistant to join our team in Aarhus C.

You will be part of a small kitchen team in a busy dumpling bar, where teamwork and good communication are important.

Your main tasks will include:

• Preparing ingredients (washing, cutting and basic prep for dumplings and other dishes)

• Assisting with dumpling production and simple hot dishes

• Setting up and organising kitchen workstations

• Refilling ingredients and keeping prep areas stocked during service

• Keeping kitchen work areas clean and tidy

• Helping where needed during busy service hours

Working hours and employment

We are looking for both part-time and full-time employees:

• Part-time: approximately 12–20 hours per week

• Full-time: approximately 37 hours per week

Working hours will include weekdays and weekends according to a shift schedule.

About you

We expect that you:

• Have at least 1 year of experience working in a kitchen, canteen, restaurant or similar

• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Are punctual, responsible and stable

• Can work both independently and as part of a team

• Care about hygiene and keeping your workstation clean and organised

Experience with Asian cuisine is an advantage, but not a requirement – we will teach you our way of working.
