We are looking for:

·         Kitchen Assistant/ Prep Cook Key tasks:

As a Kitchen Assistant/ Prep Cook you will for cleaning dishes and cookware, preparing ingredients for the culinary team, and ensuring the kitchen and storage areas remain clean, sanitary, and compliant with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and slice ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and meats according to chef instructions.

• Dishwashing and Sanitation: Operate commercial dishwashers and hand-wash large or delicate pots, pans, and utensils to ensure the chefs always have clean equipment available.

• Cleanliness and Waste Disposal: Sweep, mop floors, wipe down workstations, and empty trash and recycling bins regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.

• Inventory Management: Assist with unloading vendor deliveries, rotating food stock, and organizing storage areas or walk-in refrigerators.

• Support the Culinary Team: Assist cooks with plating, packaging takeout orders, and fulfilling any other immediate tasks during peak service hours.

Skills:

• English - must be able to communicate in English 

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment.

• Vital communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with a crew and ensure safety on the job site

Experience:

• Experience is good to have but that's not necessary
