Staermose Industry in Denmark is looking for an experienced laser machine operator for our sheet metal department.
The job
The job consists of operating the laser machines – either a Bystronic or Salvagnini machine. This means monitoring the programs and making sure that the machine runs smoothly and efficiently. You process the customer orders and make sure to cut the parts according to specification, quality measures and on time. You handle minor adjustments to the machine programs, and you clean the lens and nozzles and carry out planned machine maintenance. You work both independently and in close cooperation with two or more colleagues in the sheet metal department.
The working hours are 37 hours per week. After a training period, you will work on the evening or night shift, 4-5 days per week.
Experience
• At least 3 years’ experience running a sheet metal laser cutting machine
• Experience cutting different metals and different thicknesses of materials
• You work with good energy and can keep a good overview
• You have a positive attitude
• You understand and speak English or Danish
• It is an advantage if you have a forklift certificate
