Role Overview
For our danish client, Huawei, we are seeking a Legal Assistant to support renewable energy projects across the Nordic region, with a primary focus on solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role combines legal research, contract support, and regulatory analysis, contributing to the delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
This position is suited to a junior-to-mid level legal professional looking to build expertise in EU and Nordic renewable energy law within an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Legal Research & Regulatory Support
Conduct legal research on EU and Nordic renewable energy laws and regulations
Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide structured summaries
Support internal legal awareness initiatives (guidelines, training materials, presentations)
2) Legal Review & Documentation
Perform legal review of contracts, agreements, and internal documents
Assist in drafting legal opinions and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with internal legal policies and processes
3) Dispute & Case Support
Assist in legal dispute handling, including evidence collection and documentation
Support case tracking and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
4) Knowledge Management
Maintain and structure legal documentation and knowledge repositories
Support project retrospectives and internal knowledge sharing initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
1–3 years of experience in a legal role
Strong legal research and legal writing skills
Basic understanding of EU legal frameworks
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or regulated industries
Knowledge of solar PV, BESS, or energy-related projects
Familiarity with Nordic legal frameworks
Fluency in English, plus Danish or another Nordic language
Key Competencies

Ability to work independently within defined processes
Strong attention to detail and documentation quality
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
