The Role:

We are seeking a highly imaginative and conceptually driven Motion Designer to elevate our visual storytelling. You will be solving complex creative tasks, using your motion design skills to help create standout films for our international client base.

You will work in close collaboration with skilled copywriters, art directors, creative directors and account managers, all motivated to execute creative concepts at the highest level. You will be expected to communicate openly and support your coworkers, meet hard deadlines, address client feedback, and stay motivated to continually refine your skillset and develop your career as a creative.

What You’ll do:

·       Conceptualize & Storyboard: Develop innovative motion concepts and storyboards that translate static ideas into engaging, narrative-driven animated sequences.

·       Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling visual narratives through animation, utilizing principles of movement, timing, and visual flow to convey messages and evoke specific emotions.

·       Brand Identity in Motion: Design and animate dynamic brand identities, logos, and visual systems that are expressive and consistent across various digital platforms.

·       Pacing & Rhythm: Master the art of pacing and rhythm to create impactful transitions, intros, outros, and explainers that hold audience attention and enhance comprehension.

·       Creative Problem Solving: Collaborate with creative directors and art directors to interpret abstract briefs and transform them into visually stunning and effective motion graphics solutions.

·       Style Development: Experiment with diverse animation styles, techniques, and visual effects to create unique aesthetics tailored to each project's creative brief and target audience.

·       Asset Transformation: Take static design assets and conceptualize how they can be brought to life through animation, adding depth, personality, and meaning.

·       Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest motion design trends, software, and techniques, constantly seeking ways to innovate and elevate our agency's output.

What You’ll Bring:

·       An exceptional portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and diverse motion graphic styles.

·       Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including a deep understanding of its capabilities for complex animation, visual effects, and compositing.

·       Strong command of other relevant software such as Cinema 4D (or other 3D software), Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

·       A keen eye for design, typography, color theory, and composition, applied specifically to moving images.

·       Conceptual thinking and the ability to translate abstract ideas into clear, engaging, and emotionally resonant motion graphics.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative decisions and receive feedback constructively.

·       Understanding of various digital platforms and their specific requirements for motion content.

·       Bachelor's degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
