Science Officer

Science Officer

ICARS are looking for Science Officer. The position is permanent, full-time and based in Team Human Health in ICARS HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) was established by the Danish government in 2019 with a mission to support the development of evidence-based solutions to mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) across the human, veterinary and environment sectors taking a One Health approach. ICARS became an independent self-governing institution in November 2021.

While the LMICs are responsible for implementing the solutions, ICARS supports the initiatives through funding, scientific and technical advice as well as proven intervention methods to ensure sustainable, scalable AMR mitigating solutions across the One Health sectors in LMICs.

You will be part of a growing organization that is composed of enthusiastic, international experts that believe in ICARS’ mission and are highly motivated to ensure its success. This position is a unique opportunity to join this mission.
