Esbern Snare Brasserie & Cocktail Bar is looking for skilled and motivated Chefs / Cooks for our new restaurant opening in Slagelse, Denmark.

We already operate a restaurant in Kalundborg, Denmark, and we are now preparing to open a brand-new restaurant in Slagelse.

We are therefore looking for chefs who want to become part of a new kitchen team and help build a strong operation from the very beginning.

Our concept is based on modern Danish cuisine with a Nordic twist, combined with well-executed brasserie classics and a varied à la carte menu. We focus on quality ingredients, solid craftsmanship and dishes that combine flavour, comfort and consistency. Our menu includes both classic meat dishes, such as pepper steak, pasta dishes and other popular brasserie favourites.

This is a unique opportunity to join a new restaurant before opening and become part of shaping the kitchen culture, routines and daily standards from day one. At the same time, you will be joining a business with an already proven concept, experienced ownership and a clear direction. The setup is strong and well prepared, giving you both stability and the chance to make a real impact.

You will also receive support and professional sparring from our gastronomic development team, which works with concept development, menu quality and the continued strengthening of our kitchen operations.

We are looking for chefs / cooks who:

• Have experience working in a professional kitchen
• Can handle prep, mise en place and service in a structured way
• Have experience with à la carte service
• Care about quality, teamwork and consistency
• Thrive in a busy restaurant environment
• Can work independently and take responsibility during service

We offer:

• Full-time employment
• A fixed work schedule

• Salary of approximately DKK 30,000–35,000 gross per month, depending on qualifications and experience
