We are looking for a new team member to join Gentofte Bistro — someone with experience from a restaurant or café who would like to take on a little more responsibility than a classic waiter role.

What matters most to us is that you are great with guests, work well as part of a team, and naturally have a good overview of the floor.

About us

Gentofte Bistro has been open for 3 years and is a small, family-run bistro in Gentofte, focused on good food, wine, and relaxed, personal service.

On a typical shift, we are around five people working, split between chefs, kitchen porter, and front of house, and we have a young team with a friendly, informal atmosphere.

What matters most to us is that you:

✔️ Are confident with guests and able to create a warm, relaxed atmosphere

✔️ Work well in a team and contribute positively to the people around you

✔️ Take responsibility and naturally keep a good overview during service

It is a big plus if you also:

✔️ Have experience helping train or onboard new staff

✔️ Have previously had a bit of extra responsibility during service

✔️ Have an interest in food, wine, and genuine hospitality

✔️ Are interested in developing further and learning more about wine, gastronomy, leadership, and the day-to-day running of a restaurant

About the role

You will work closely with our current shift manager, Frida, and me, and help strengthen both the floor, the team, and the daily operation.

This role would suit someone who enjoys having a bit more responsibility and would like to become an important part of a place where you can actually have influence and grow.
