Semco Maritime is part of Danske Flådeskibe K/S – the consortium responsible for designing, building, and servicing the next generation of Arctic ships for the Danish Navy. In this setup, Semco Maritime is responsible for construction, integration, and operation of the ship assembly facility in Frederikshavn.

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist who can take end-to-end ownership of establishing a robust, compliant, and reliable supply chain setup supporting naval ship production.

Your position

As Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for building the defence-grade supply chain foundation that production will depend on from day one.

Operating in a defence context means that robustness, traceability, compliance, and reliability are mandatory. You will ensure that operational reality, ERP structures, and documentation are fully aligned and auditable.

Initially, the role is hands-on and execution focused. From the outset, however, you will act as the functional lead and authority within the supply chain domain. As production ramps up, the role will develop into a formal Supply Chain Lead position.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for building and owning the supply chain setup supporting ship assembly operations.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Establish the operational backbone combining procurement, logistics, warehouse, and ship assembly
• Design and implement end-to-end supply chain processes fit for assembly
• Define inbound, internal, and outbound logistics flows
• Develop and govern ERP (IFS) structures for materials, planning, and logistics
• Establish and maintain master data standards (items, BOMs, locations)
• Define and optimize MRP and planning principles
• Ensure alignment between physical flows, ERP data, and documentation
• Act as primary supply chain interface toward engineering, procurement, production, quality, and projects
• Prepare the future supply chain organization and leadership setup

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and structured Supply Chain Specialist who is passionate about complex project environments and wants to leave their personal mark on building scalable operations. You have an analytical and hands-on approach to your work and are eager to create structure in dynamic settings.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• Experience from complex, project-based environments (e.g., offshore, wind, shipbuilding, or manufacturing)
• Relevant degree in supply chain, engineering, or business
• Hands-on experience within supply chain, logistics, procurement, or planning
• Strong ERP experience (IFS or SAP preferred)
• Solid understanding of master data, MRP, and planning principles
• Knowledge of safety standards relevant to industrial or production environments
