European School Copenhagen is seeking one to two teachers for the following subjects in our Secondary (6.-9. Grade) department- English, History and Religion (English section)
- French, History and Religion (French section)
These subjects could be covered by one full-time teacher, or two part-time teachers, starting 1st August 2026. The positions are permanent.
The language of instruction will be English or French depending on the section, and our working language at the school is English.
The role will also include some co-teaching.
We expect that you- have the appropriate educational qualifications to teach in Secondary (Folkeskolen’s 6.-9. klasse)
- have experience teaching relevant subjects at Secondary level
- are fluent in the relevant language for teaching these subjects
- have a strong focus on students’ learning and wellbeing in accordance with the school’s values
- have a desire to contribute to the ongoing development of the school
- enjoy collaborating with international colleagues on learning and development
- are independent and able to navigate a dynamic working environment
The ideal candidate will have- experience in international or intercultural education
- strong social and communication skills
- good IT skills

About the school European School Copenhagen (ESCPH) is an international school funded by the City of Copenhagen. ESCPH opened in August 2014 and has three language sections: English, French and Danish, from nursery class to secondary 7 (3.G).
ESCPH is an accredited school within the established European School system, following the rigorous educational requirements for European Schools combined with Danish pedagogy and working guidelines.
