We are looking for a responsible and flexible oven operator with a technical background to join our team. We are a unique Danish niche company that can offer an exciting and challenging daily life in an international environment.

Our professional qualifications are as diverse as our cultural backgrounds, but we have one thing in common - we are all proud to create a fantastic product that makes a difference in many sectors. Perlite is used for insulation, building material, and soil improvement, just to name a few examples. When we process perlite, we heat it to over 1000 degrees Celsius. This causes it to expand to 10-20 times its original size. Naturally, we produce a lot of heat. We reuse this heat in many local households to make your new workplace sustainable and energy-efficient.

You will be the person responsible for ensuring that the ovens are running, and that youre producing material that meet our quality standards. You will assign the man power for each equipment and you will collaborate with other oven operators and the production manager on optimizing production.

Your responsibilities as a supervisor:

• ·       Process controlling

• ·        Ensuring quality meets our standards

• ·        Fixing oven problems of lesser technical difficulty

• ·        Fine tuning your production, to reach an optimal level

• ·        Responsible for keeping the production area clean and tidy, and allocating the ressources when neccesary

• ·        Ensuring the equipments are running, and that we are packing out products

About you:

• ·        You have a technical background

• ·        You are flexible, in terms of working dayshift (mon-thu: 07:00-15:45, fri: 07:00-13:45) and evening shift (mon-thu: 15:15-00:00, Fri: 13:00-19:45)

• ·        You are fluent in English

• ·        You have an analytical approach to problems

• ·        Ability to prioritize staffing as well as breaks without stopping the equipment

• ·        Able to keep your head cool in busy situations, and maintain an overview

• ·        You should have at least EU residency. If you live in Denmark, it's an advantage

• ·        Having management experience is a plus
