Employee to cattle farm near 9240 Nibe

Ilsø Søndergaard is located near 9240 Nibe. The farm has 600 dairy cows as well as young stock and places a strong focus on quality and high milk standards. You will become part of a team consisting of the owners and 9 additional employees.

What does the job involve?

Milking takes place in a SAC milking parlour with 2x24 positions (SBS) from 2018. You will be responsible for the work in the milking parlour and will carry out milking together with a very experienced employee from Ukraine.

You will work five days a week and have days off every Sunday and Monday. Your working hours will vary from week to week according to the work schedule:

• Week 1 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday): 03:00 – 11:00
• Week 1 (Friday, Saturday): 03:00 – 08:00 and 15:00 – 20:00
• Week 2 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday): 15:00 – 20:00
• Week 2 (Friday, Saturday): 03:00 – 08:00 and 15:00 – 20:00

In addition to milking, you will also be responsible for tasks such as manure handling, bedding, cleaning, and various maintenance duties.

We expect that you:

• Experience with cows and milking is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Are reliable and responsible
• Are open to learning new things
• Can speak Danish or English

It is also an advantage if you have a driver’s license.
