About the Organization
The China Cultural Center in Denmark is an official institution dedicated to promoting cultural and tourism exchanges between China and Denmark at both governmental and grassroots levels. We organize cultural events, facilitate people-to-people exchanges, and collaborate with Danish institutions and travel trade partners to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and lead our bilateral tourism initiatives.
Job Description
The Tourism Manager will be responsible for promoting and facilitating China-Denmark tourism exchanges. The position reports to the Director.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Engagement
1.1 Regularly communicate with Danish tour operators holding outbound tourism qualifications to share updates on China's inbound tourism policies, visa regulations, and destination information.
2. Industry Events & Familiarization Tours
2.1 Lead and coordinate participation of Danish travel trade professionals in FAM (Familiarization) tours to China, travel trade fairs, and other promotional events in China.
3. Market Research & Analysis
3.1 Conduct research and analysis of the China-Denmark tourism market landscape, prepare analytical reports on bilateral tourism trends, and identify opportunities to enhance people-to-people exchanges and increase visitor flows between the two countries.
4. General Duties
4.1 Undertake other tasks and assignments as reasonably required in the daily work environment, depending on organizational needs.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
1. Language: Fluent proficiency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken)
2. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the tourism sectors in both China and Denmark
3. Analytical Skills: Ability to prepare professional tourism market analysis reports
4. Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel internationally on occasional business trips
5. Education: Bachelor's degree or above
6. Background Check: An acceptable criminal record check is required
7. Health: Ability to provide a health certificate as required by the employer
Preferred:
1. Proficiency in Danish is a strong advantage.
Work Authorization
During the interview stage, candidates will be asked to confirm their current residence status in Denmark. For positions involving international travel, verification of legal work authorization may be required prior to final offer.

Due to the nature of the position, which may involve leading travel groups to China, the employer will during the interview stage provide an overview of the physical requirements associated with international business travel and group coordination. Special Terms of Employment
This position starts on a part-time basis. The Center may offer a one-year full-time contract, based on work performance and business needs. The final interpretation of these employment terms shall reside with the Center.
