Den Røde Tomat is looking for an experienced and independent Kitchen Manager for our restaurant in Tisvildeleje, Denmark.
Responsibilities:
Daily management and coordination of kitchen operations
Responsibility for ordering supplies and maintaining contact with suppliers
Training and supervising new employees
Ensuring food quality and compliance with hygiene standards
Planning and organizing kitchen workflows
Ensuring efficient operations during busy periods
Assisting in the development and maintenance of menus
Monitoring inventory levels and stock consumption
Independently managing kitchen operations in the owner's absence
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in the restaurant or kitchen industry
Experience in training and supervising staff
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Strong teamwork and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
The position is full-time, 37 hours per week.
