Pedestal is looking for a Head of Finance to lead and develop our finance function as we continue our growth journey.

The right candidate combines a hands-on mindset with strong financial leadership and enjoys working closely with the CEO and the wider leadership team. You will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and ensuring a solid financial foundation to support continued growth.

The Head of Finance will play a key role in strengthening our financial processes, providing valuable business insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the company. The position reports directly to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the company's finance function, including accounting, controlling, and financial reporting.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and KPI reporting to support business growth.
• Improve and streamline financial and administrative processes through automation and smarter ways of working.
• Prepare business cases, strategic analyses and Board material, while actively contributing to management and Board discussions.
• Act as a trusted business partner to the owners, leadership team, and colleagues across the organization.
• Work closely with the CEO, providing financial insight and strategic sparring to support key business decisions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You have solid experience in finance, accounting, and business controlling. Experience with a fashion, design, or lifestyle brand is a plus but not required.
• You combine strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to turn numbers into clear insights. Experience with Business Central and Power BI is an advantage.
• You are curious about how AI can improve the way we work and ideally have experience using AI to optimize processes.
• You are a hands-on leader who enjoys taking ownership, driving change, and partnering with the leadership team.
• You have a strong financial foundation through a relevant degree, such as an MSc in Business Administration (Finance), Economics, or Accounting. Experience from one of the larger international accounting firms is a plus.
• You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
