About FLC:

At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.

About the role:

Whether you are early in your career or already have several years of relevant experience this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to develop further within a dynamic organisation.

As part of our Industrial Relations team, you will work closely with HR and managers across the organisation. You will provide practical legal advice on employment matters, support employee relations initiatives and contribute to maintaining constructive relationships with employee representatives and trade unions.

Depending on your level of experience, you will either develop your expertise through close collaboration with experienced colleagues or take on greater responsibility for complex employment law matters and strategic Industrial Relations initiatives.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements, local agreements, and company policies.

  • Draft legal documents, guidance materials, briefing notes, and decision papers related to Industrial Relations and employment law.

  • Prepare documentation and analyses for meetings and negotiations with trade unions and employee representatives.

  • Participate in meetings with trade unions, and employee representatives.

  • Support the handling of labour disputes, grievances, disciplinary matters, and other employment-related cases.

  • Monitor changes in labour legislation and collective agreements and assist in implementing necessary updates.

  • Deliver legal research and analyse labour law developments to support business decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, occupational health and safety requirements, equal treatment legislation, data protection regulations (GDPR), and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a collaborative legal professional who enjoys working in a dynamic business environment and is motivated by solving complex people-related legal issues.

Ideally you have:

  • A Master's degree in Law ( Cand.jur., Cand.merc.jur or equivalent).

  • Experience in employment and labour law, either gained in-house or within an employer organisation. We welcome applications from candidates with a few years of experience as well as more experienced professionals.

  • A genuine interest in Industrial Relations, collective bargaining and employment law.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal requirements into practical business solutions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • The ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience from the construction or civil engineering industry is beneficial.

What we offer:

You will join a collaborative and supportive Industrial Relations team where professional development and knowledge sharing are highly valued.

An excellent opportunity to build a career in Industrial Relations.

Exposure to a wide range of employment law and collective bargaining agreements

Conditions:

FLC considers transparent management structures, short decision-making channels, and a team-oriented environment to be extremely important. The FLC staff is expected to set themselves targets, achieve them independently, and take responsibility for their actions – irrespective of their position in the company.

FLC offers attractive employment conditions on a Danish contract according to The Salaried Employees Act (Funktionærloven). Pension, health insurance and lunch arrangement will be available.

Workplace:

Primary work location is at the construction site in Rødbyhavn, but with opportunities to work from Copenhagen/remote.

We look forward to receiving your application. Due to the upcoming summer holiday, we will go through the applications upon return in August.
