Payroll Specialist

Itinera is a leading player in the construction of major infrastructure projects. With more than 80 years of experience, the company has delivered large-scale civil engineering, and infrastructure works in Italy and across the globe.

In Denmark, our projects include the New Odense University Hospital (OUH), Køge Hospital (KHPT), and the Storstrøm Bridge (SBJV). The position is based at our branch office in Ballerup.

What will you be doing?
As our Payroll Specialist, you will collaborate closely with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and efficient handling of all payroll-related matters. You will play a key role in supporting the organization on topics such as salaries, pensions, employee expenses, and related inquiries.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing payroll input for blue-collar employees across three subsidiaries

• Preparing payroll input for white-collar employees in Itinera Denmark and its subsidiaries

• Responding to employee inquiries regarding salary, holidays, pensions, and benefits

• Handling various ad hoc payroll-related tasks as needed

What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience in Danish payroll and strong communication skills, who can convey information clearly and effectively. As we employ a large number of blue-collar workers covered by various collective agreements, it is an advantage if you have experience interpreting and applying the rules of these agreements in practice.

You are comfortable working with MS Office, particularly Excel.

As part of an international organization, fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, and knowledge of Danish is considered a strong plus.
