We have a temporary position available that involves offering pedagogical, social and academic support for students in our French section. You will work with supporting students in our French section during school hours. You will work closely with the teachers and pedagogues around the classes to create a good environment for the kids to learn, thrive, and develop. You will also be included in the class’ overall work, as the school's approach is inclusive, and supporting the student’s social relationships and academic collaboration is an important part of the role.
We are looking for someone who- has a relevant education, for example pedagogue degree or a teachers degree specialized in special needs students
- has prior experience working with children who need extra support with their ability to engage in the learning and their social-emotional development
- is proficient in French
The ideal candidate will- have knowledge on students with special needs
- be proficient in oral and written English as this is the working language at the school
- want to support the teaching in the class as a whole and to be willing to perform other tasks as necessary, pedagogical as well as academic
- contribute to a positive work environment with colleagues
- be independent and able to navigate in a changeable day

Terms of employment The position is a temporary position of 1 school year starting August 10th with the possibility of an extension. The position is part time 40-60 % – concrete hours will be agreed between candidate and School. Salary and employment conditions in accordance with relevant collective agreements.
