Job description

Job duties and responsibilities

• All aspects of installing, assembling, maintaining and repairing piping systems.

• Assemble piping systems based on blueprints and design specifications.

• Cut, shape and thread pipes to exact fit.

• Carry out regular inspections, repair leaks and maintain equipment.

• Test systems to ensure they are functional and safe.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams. Use various tools including welding equipment, cutting tools and measuring instruments.

• Secure pipes to walls and other installations using brackets and clamps.

• Carry out repair work on existing pipelines.

• Work with materials such as pipes, flanges, valves and supports.

Job requirements

• Minimum 1 year of proven relevant experience.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.

• English skills: medium level required

Qualifications

• Driver's license required: B or BE recommended 

Salary and benefits

• Hourly gross salary: starting from 178.50 kr./hour.
