Postdoc in Hybrid Wood Species Design at the Royal Danish Academy

Do you want to advance the state-of-the-art research in wood analysis and design? The Royal Danish Academy invites applicants for a position as a postdoctoral researcher. The position is offered at the Royal Danish Academy, in the Institute of Architecture and Space, at CEMAS - Center for Material Studies.

The vacant position is a 2-year, full-time position and we hope to fill the position by 1 March 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is part of the research project ReForm, which is among others funded by Danielsens Fond and STARK Fonden grants. ReForm is focused on the analysis and design of hybrid wood species compositions by use of wood residues from industrial processing. The postdoc will work closely together with the PI, Professor Isak Worre Foged (The Royal Danish Academy), and other researchers at the Center for Material Studies, and associated academic partners specific to the project.
