Are you motivated by optimization and quality assurance, and driven by a solution-oriented mindset — with a strong ambition to grow personally and professionally?
Would you like to develop your skills while helping continue the development of one of the world’s leading global furniture suppliers? Then this position might be just right for you.
Our Quality Department consists of five dedicated colleagues working closely together to ensure consistent product quality and a low claims rate for our customers. The team is responsible for quality assurance across products, materials and packaging, ensuring compliance with Actona Group standards, customer requirements and relevant legislation.
We are now looking for a colleague who wants to grow into the quality field and develop strong competencies within optimization and quality assurance as part of a structured learning journey.
The job – a development role
This is a development position designed for someone who wants to build practical experience in quality work. You will join a supportive team where learning, sparring and gradual responsibility are central parts of the role.
Your primary responsibility will be to support the department in maintaining consistently high quality across products, materials and processes. Over time, you will develop the competencies needed to handle tasks independently and take ownership of selected areas.
You will build a broad internal network and collaborate across many teams, always keeping quality in focus. You will participate in cross-organizational and optimization and problem-solving activities and gradually take a more active role as your experience grows.
The Quality Department also handles hands-on product issues, and you will participate in these tasks together with the rest of the team, learning through practice and collaboration.
Your tasks
Your responsibilities will expand as you develop in the role. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with improvement and streamlining of quality processes and workflows
- Supporting analyses of risks, deviations and root causes
- Participating in solving product and quality issues, including complaint handling
- Supporting cross-functional projects related to recurring quality issues
- Collaborating with Warehouse, Sales, Procurement, Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Supporting supplier-related quality improvements
- Contributing to sustainability projects such as LCA analyses and CO2e mapping
- Maintenance and development of the Qarma quality platform
- Helping ensure reliable quality data and reporting
- Hands-on inspections in Eastern Europe as well as in-house quality check of products and materials
It is not expected that you will have experience with all areas from day one. What matters most is your motivation to learn and your willingness to develop the skills needed to gradually take ownership of these tasks.
Success in the role means growing into a confident quality professional who can identify issues early, suggest practical solutions and contribute to efficient workflows across the organization.
Who are you?
We are looking for a colleague who:
- Is curious and motivated to develop professionally
- Builds relationships easily and enjoys collaboration
- Is proactive and eager to learn
- Has a strong eye for detail
- Thinks logically and enjoys analysis and structured work
- Wants a long-term career within quality and optimization
- Has relevant education (e.g. technical, administrative or production-related)
- Is fluent in written and spoken English
- Is willing to travel approximately 10–30 days per year
Experience from a similar role is an advantage, but not a requirement. We value attitude, learning ability and development potential more than a perfect CV.
Workplace – Tvis, Holstebro
Start date – As soon as possible. We are willing to wait for the right candidate. If you are finishing your studies this summer, we are open to the possibility of starting with a student position during the initial period.
