About FLC:

At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.

About the department:

Safety department on the project is a dynamic team of safety proffessionals who are responsible for the working environment and complicance to local legislation.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

· Assist and complement the HS&WE Coordinators, by being in close contact with the workforce on the field and capture any feedback from the workers.

· Monitoring onsite safety protocols and conducting routine inspections of the work environment.

· Initiate Accident/Incident investigations, helping to collect all the facts.

Qualifications:

· Polish and English language skills are a must have

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively promote safety awareness

· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a high-paced, on-site construction environment

· Relevant experience and certifications in occupational health and safety are highly desirable

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is highly desirable

· Candidate must have prior experience in the construction sector
