Gram Equipment is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to strengthen our Global Accounting team. In this role, you will be a central contributor to our AP function, driving accurate and efficient processes. You will work closely with the finance team in Denmark and act as a key sparring partner to our Global AP team.

Primary responsibilities

• Own and ensure accuracy and quality in full-cycle accounts payable processes (P2P), supporting invoice processing, reconciliations, and follow-up actions
• Manage vendor payments, master data, and support for bank and vendor reconciliations
• Support core accounting processes across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Manage accounting activities for holding companies
• Handling VAT reporting and compliance (reverse charge, EU sales, import/export) and energy duties
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing and support external audit
• Identifying and correcting discrepancies and ensuring proper follow-up and documentation
• Supporting ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) with a focus on correct accounting setup and data integrity
• Supporting reporting to authorities, including Statistics Denmark, and assisting with transfer pricing documentation

Qualifications

• Relevant education in accounting/finance (e.g., HD, Finansøkonom or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience with accounting and cross-border VAT compliance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance
• Experience with VAT in an international context
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English
