Supply Chain Analyst

Driven by data and motivated by real operational impact? This is where your insights make a difference.

If this resonates with you, then you might be the perfect fit as our Supply Chain Analyst to join ABENA!

As a Supply Chain Analyst in ABENA, you will play a key role in turning data into insight and insight into action - strengthening data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a hands-on analytical role, close to both data and day-to-day operations. By identifying patterns across large data sets and understanding how decisions impact the end-to-end supply chain, you help improve planning quality, stabilize flows, and drive concrete improvements in processes and systems. You collaborate closely with purchasing, logistics, sales, finance, and IT - acting as a natural link between data, operations, and business priorities.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role comes from being proactive, curious, and able to think both critically and holistically. You don’t just report on what will happen. You explain why it happened and what to do next. You take ownership of your analyses, communicate insights clearly, and have the confidence to challenge assumptions when data tells a different story.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and follow up on supply chain performance using KPIs such as service level, delivery performance, and inventory turnover - identifying root causes and proposing improvements.
  • Improve forecast quality by analyzing data, forecast errors, and product behavior to highlight where attention and action are most needed.
  • Help optimize inventory and planning parameters (e.g. safety stock, reorder points, batch sizes) to balance availability and inventory levels.
  • Develop and optimize planning processes, systems, and master data, including participation in S&OP and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Translate analyses into clear insights that support operational and tactical decision-making across the business.

What we hope you bring to the team:

  • A relevant higher education within Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a similar field.
  • Hands-on experience working with data, analysis and IT systems to support operational decisions.
  • A structured and pragmatic way of working, with the ability to operate independently and take ownership.
  • A proactive mindset - you identify issues, challenge assumptions and turn insights into concrete actions.
  • Strong business understanding and the ability to prioritize what creates real value.
  • Fluency in Danish is required, and English must be at a professional working level.
  • Clear communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across functions and with management.

Your Team, Our Culture and Values

We’re a small, young team that works hard to deliver high-quality insights that truly support the business, and we take real pride in that. We collaborate closely, sparing ideas across the table while staying focused on what matters. We’re ambitious and driven, but there’s always room for a laugh and the social side of work. Simply put, we believe work should be meaningful, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable.

Your leader at ABENA will be Team Lead Kim Wollesen who describes his leadership style as follows:

“As a leader, I value trust and straight talk over micromanagement. I set clear directions and expectations, then give people the space to take ownership and get things done. I step in when decisions are needed or something gets in the way - but otherwise, I trust you to do your job as you best see fit. I believe in doing things properly, keeping a good pace, and being honest and concrete in feedback. I lead with trust, clarity, and common sense and I expect the same in return”

At ABENA, you join a global company with a strong purpose: to make a real difference in the everyday lives of people around the world. We combine professionalism with a warm, people-first culture where collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement are necessary parts of everyday life. We take pride in delivering high-quality work with integrity, guided by our core values of trust, fairness, and cooperation. These values shape how we lead, support one another, and create meaningful impact for our customers and communities.

We look forward to receiving your application
