173.00 DKK per hour | Full-time | Day and evening work

Vi-kar is looking for a reliable warehouse worker for the fruit and vegetable department at our client’s workplace in Køge.

This is an active, physically demanding position involving the picking and handling of fresh produce. You will work in a chilled environment of approximately 8°C and perform manual lifting throughout much of the shift.

Your tasks

• Picking and handling fruit and vegetables

• Following instructions through an English-language picking system

• Working safely around colleagues and warehouse equipment

• Helping the department reach its daily quality and productivity targets

• Contributing to an efficient and cooperative working environment

You will receive training in the picking system and the department’s targets. The expected picking speed should be reached within approximately four weeks.

Working hours

• Weekdays: 11:30–19:30

• Weekends: 11:45–19:45

• Full-time employment

• Salary: 173.00 DKK per hour

• A performance bonus is paid when the agreed picking targets are reached. The bonus structure and targets will be explained during training.

The department operates seven days a week, so your schedule will include both weekdays and weekends.

On busy days, overtime may be required, and this cannot always be announced in advance. You must therefore be able to stay beyond the scheduled finishing time when necessary.

The periods immediately before, between and after public holidays are particularly busy, so availability during these periods is important.

• Can speak and understand English

• Can perform repeated manual lifting throughout a seven-hour working day

• Can work comfortably in an environment of approximately 8°C

• Is punctual, dependable and motivated

• Takes workplace safety seriously

• Can follow instructions and respond positively to feedback

• Understands the importance of teamwork

• Is willing to improve and work towards clearly defined targets

You must provide your own suitable work clothes and safety shoes. Work gloves and a high-visibility vest will be provided at the workplace.
