Would you like to help develop the digital solutions behind a modern transport and logistics company specialising in pharmaceutical transport?

At BHS Logistics we are looking for an IT developer who enjoys working closely with the business and wants to help develop systems and digital solutions that support our transport and logistics operations.

You will join a small IT development team with a broad area of responsibility and a short path from idea to solution. Our transport management system (TMS) is central to much of the work, but the role covers a far wider range of tasks.

What will you be working on?

You will work on developing and enhancing our IT solutions, including:

• Configuration and further development of our TMS
• APIs, integrations and sFTP
• SQL, databases and data processing
• Web and mobile solutions
• Cloud-based services and automation
• AI technologies
• Power BI

You will not be limited to one specific system or technology. We work across our IT landscape and choose the solution that makes the most sense for each task.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a technical IT background and, above all, a passion for developing solutions.

You may be an experienced developer, or a relatively recent graduate with the right technical understanding and curiosity.

Experience in some of the areas listed above is an advantage, but we do not expect you to know everything from day one.

Most importantly, you are curious, analytical and organised, with a desire to learn. You should be able to understand both technical challenges and the business that the solutions are intended to support. Experience in transport and logistics is an advantage, but not a requirement.

A small team with a broad reach

You will join a small team that works closely with colleagues across the company.

The working day is varied. One day you may be working on an integration with an external partner, the next on a new feature in our TMS, and the third on how AI or automation can make an existing process smarter.

We value pragmatic solutions, short decision-making paths and the opportunity to take ownership from idea through to implementation.

Location

We are primarily looking for a colleague to join our team in Rønne on Bornholm, but for the right candidate there is also the option of being based at our office in Køge.
