Sous Chef
We are seeking a professionally strong and dedicated Sous Chef / Assistant kokken Chef to join our kitchen team. You will act as a key partner to the Head Chef and share responsibility for the daily operations, quality assurance, and continued development of the kitchen.
This position requires strong leadership skills, structure, and the ability to maintain oversight in a busy service environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Co-responsibility for the daily management of the kitchen
• Ensure consistent high quality, presentation, and taste of all dishes
• Plan and coordinate production and service
• Participate in menu development and concept optimization
• Train, supervise, and develop kitchen staff and apprentices
• Assist with scheduling in cooperation with the Head Chef
• Manage purchasing, stock control, and cost optimization
• Ensure compliance with Danish food safety and hygiene regulations
• Act as Head Chef during absence
Professional Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of cost control and kitchen economics
• Profiency in English written and oral
• Holder of a valid Danish work permit
