Student Ambassadors for the MSc Data Science Programme at ITU’s Open House Event, 2 February 2027

Job description
Do you enjoy your studies and want to share your experience with prospective students?

ITU is looking for motivated and approachable student ambassadors to represent our MSc in Data Science at the upcoming Open House event on 2 February 2027.

This is your chance to inspire others, build valuable communication skills, and be part of a supportive team that helps shape the next generation of ITU students.

What you'll do as a student ambassador
As an ambassador at ITU’s Open House, you’ll gain valuable communication experience, expand your ITU network, and help future students feel welcome and prepared. This includes:

  • Answering questions from prospective students about your program, student life, and why you chose ITU
  • Guiding visitors during the Open House, helping them explore the campus and attend sessions
  • Giving a presentation about your experience at ITU
We welcome all students at ITU to apply for the position.

To create a welcoming and inclusive environment, we need a diverse group of ambassadors who can represent the many different students at ITU. Your unique perspective and experiences will help make the introduction to ITU for prospective students.

Salary and terms of employment
The employment is in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and SUL. You must be an ITU student to qualify as a student ambassador.

Expected working hours in January and February: between 7–12 hours (including preparation 2-5 hours). The position is paid on an hourly basis. The salary is based on the SUL agreement, with an hourly wage of 231,34DKK (August 2026 level).

Further information
Questions about the positions can be directed to SAP. Student Guidance, SPS and Student Information, Katrine Helt, IT University of Copenhagen, khel@itu.dk

Questions related to the application procedure may be directed to HR, hr@itu.dk.

Application procedure
You can only apply for this position through our e-recruitment system. Apply by pressing the button "Apply for position" in the job announcement on our website.

Submit a short application and your CV. During the application process, you can apply for one or multiple roles within the same process.

Application deadline: 2 November 2026, at 12:00 CEST.

Applications/enclosures received at ITU after the application deadline will not be taken into consideration. If you submit an application, it is your responsibility to ensure that it arrives before the deadline so please allow sufficient time for the upload of publications and other documents.

At The IT University of Copenhagen, we have an international environment and view diversity as a valuable resource. We are committed to ensuring an inclusive working environment for all our employees and encourage all qualified applicants, regardless of age, gender, religious affiliation, or ethnic background to apply for the position.

As ITU works with research in critical technology, which is subject to special rules for security and export control, open-source background checks may be conducted on qualified candidates for the position.
