Do you want to take daily operational charge of a passionate Japanese kitchen?

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Sushi Chef to manage the daily operations of our kitchen. You will play a central role in ensuring that our high standards of quality and freshness are always met. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the restaurant management.

There is no personnel management responsibility (scheduling, hiring/firing, etc.) in this role. Instead, you will have the full daily operational responsibility for the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently during service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and presenting fresh, high-quality sushi and other hot/cold Japanese dishes.

• Taking daily charge of the kitchen workflow and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours.

• Maintaining strict hygiene standards, food safety, and quality control.

• Managing inventory and stock control in cooperation with management.

What we look for:

• Proven experience in making sushi and a solid understanding of Japanese cuisine in general.

• Experience from a similar leading role in a kitchen environment is highly preferred, but not a strict requirement.

• Structured mindset with the ability to maintain an overview and stay calm under pressure.
